President’s Report

 
Hi Everyone

 Most of you should be aware now that I am the incoming President for the Club for the new season.

 It’s great to see lots of riders turning up to Club days, and also a lot of willing helpers.  It makes the day run smoothly.  My right-hand people (Brenda, Cassy, Cam, Sandy, Natalya, Murray, and Rockie) are super-efficient and make my job really easy.

 I do the points and sometimes it can be a bit of a challenge, please sign on carefully and make any changes that are necessary on the sign on sheets so that I can update and get your points right.  If there are any problems with the points on the website, email me as soon as possible and I will make the changes.

 I have heard that there is a bit of confusion regarding the classes.  At the April Committee meeting a decision was made to stop the extra class format that we ran last year.  The riders who can enter an extra class are Vets and Women, because they qualify for both.  A woman rider under 17 can also ride in Juniors.  A 65cc rider over 8 years old can also ride in Juniors but only on an 85cc bike.  He cannot ride the 65cc bike in the Junior classes.  I hope this clears that up.

 I’d like to meet all the riders and their families so please come up and say hi and introduce yourselves if I don’t already know you.  (Not if I’m lap-scoring though!)
